Update: March 31st 2017 – flood damage ( nothing left )

Update: March 24, 2017: Commenting and Likes enabled – plus RSS issue

I’ve enabled a different commenting plugin per post, and that seems to work a lot better, which allows you to use your own wordpress or some other social media login to identify you as the commenter … the Like button appears down the bottom of each post ( if you feel inspired to do so ) … but I discovered the RSS / Atom feed page doesn’t work on iPad ( not sure why as yet ), so I will get around to fixing that when I figure out the issue.

Update: March 13, 2017 #2 – blog homepage rewritten, and main menu restructured

Ok. The home page of the blog.open-empire.org subdomain is now rewritten, so that it gives a navigation overview of the menu items to tell you what you’ll find on each page.

[ PLEASE NOTE ] the menu items it’s referring to haven’t been rewritten yet, but I’ve described what will be on them once they’re done ( some of it is there already ).

Update: March 11, 2017 #3 – “more” links added to posts

I have gone through the first 7 pages of articles in the blog roll and manually added the “more” tag to them, so that as you browse the updates or blog-roll pages, the posts appear only in short form with a link to “continue reading” … this should help make it faster to navigate the posts to find something you want to read, but I still have another 10 pages to go, as they each have to be done manually, to choose the right point to insert the tag, and sometimes also edit the post around it a bit.
