So long as the status quo of capitalism exists, we are stuck with a dilemma:

  • on the one hand we need to tear it down, so the faster it fails, the better
  • on the other hand, its excesses are causing suffering and death, and we want to limit that

Property vs. non-Property Reward Models

A common question I am asked is:

how people are rewarded if not by ownership of things?

… but the problem with this question is that it assumes if you don’t actually own something, then you have no certainty of access to it, and thus you haven’t received a reward.
